Dr. Hanan Herzberg has headed TraceSpan from its inception in 2002 and up to day, establishing the company's leading position in the broadband access segment of the test and measurement industry.
Dr. Herzberg holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and has gained international recognition as a digital communications expert. He holds seven US patents in the area of digital communications and has published more than 30 papers for international journals, conferences and standards committees. He is a member of the ITU standards committee and the IEEE.
Prior to founding TraceSpan, Dr. Herzberg served as Vice President R&D at Smart Link. He previously established and managed the DSL design center for Level One Communication. During the 1990s he served as Chief Scientist at GlobeSpan Semiconductors and Scientist at AT&T Bell Labs.
Guy Shapira has been leading TraceSpan's research and development activities since 2009, leveraging 20 years of technological and managerial experience in the telecommunications field. Before joining TraceSpan Mr. Shapira was the Vice President of Research and Development at RiT Technologies. Earlier in his career he held various R&D management positions at an elite technology unit of the Israel Defense Forces.
Mr. Shapira holds a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Oren Karasenty joined TraceSpan in 2007, bringing a wealth of experience in financial management of technology companies. Prior to joining TraceSpan Mr. Karasenty was the VP Finance and Operations of Frontline PCB Solutions, an Orbotech Mentor Graphics Company. Previously at the Israeli branch of PriceWaterhouseCoopers he was a Senior Auditor, responsible for a wide portfolio of high-tech, industrial and holding companies.
Mr. Karasenty is a qualified CPA and holds a BA degree in Economics and Accounting from Ben-Gurion University and an MBA degree from the College of Management Academic Studies in Israel.
